Cara Delevingne blasts 'Sun' over Victoria's Secret casting story

Model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne is calling out British tabloid The Sun over a story which claims the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show casting panel rejected her for this year's extravaganza because she looked "bloated."
In an Instagram post published Friday morning, she shamed the paper, writing, "It's shameless to discuss women's bodies just to sell papers."
Delevingne, who modeled in the 2012 and 2013 shows, posted a letter from Victoria's Secret chief marketing officer Edward Razek, which calls the Sun story a "complete fabrication." In the correspondence, dated Thursday, he says she was actually the first model he requested for the 2016 show, scheduled to tape on Nov. 30 in Paris. However, he was told that she would be unavailable because the film she was shooting in North Carolina couldn't accommodate her absence.
"We tried hard to have you there," he wrote, going as far as to extend the invitation again. "As always we'd love  to have you. No casting necessary!"
The Sun story was an exposé about the brutal critiques lobbed at models during the audition process. The paper also says that no matter how many times a model has walked in the show, they still have to audition ever year.
After not making the cut for the 2015 show, fellow British model Jourdan Dunn posted a tweet — which she quickly deleted — saying she was "feeling so much better about not doing BS ... sorry I mean VS.”
This year's show airs Dec. 5 on CBS with musical acts Lady GagaBruno Mars and the Weeknd.
